Mountain Maternity and Family Medicine is seeking a low risk obstetrical provider for a one year locum opportunity which includes hospital coverage at Canmore General Hospital.
The clinic provides the majority of obstetrical care in the Bow Valley with nine physicians who provide full-spectrum family medicine.
The successful candidate will be well supported with incredible staff and wonderful RNs with a holistic mindset to benefit the community. The clinic space is also shared with allied health professionals.
The Canmore Hospital has approximately 300 deliveries per year.
Physicians also cover their family medicine patients if admitted to hospital.
4-6 call shifts/month and approximately 6 clinics per month.

Alberta Health Services is implementing a new clinical information system at AHS facilities across the province. Canmore General Hospital will transition to this new CIS Connect Care on May 28, 2022. The successful applicant MUST complete training for Connect Care before they can provide services as the hospital. There is no remuneration for training.

Experience in low risk obstetrics
The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Must read, write and speak English.
